Sustainable Floral Design

We design flowers the way we cook—-with the seasons, using locally grown flowers as much as possible and making thoughtful decisions about containers and waste. We do not use green floral foam (a truly atrocious creation with more plastic in one brick than a stack of plastic bags) We re-use containers and scour flea markets and estate sales for most of our vessels. If flowers are important and you have flexibility, pick a month when flowers are at their most abundant. If you are planning a winter event —don’t despair some of our favorite designs are green on green.
