At Dee Wagner Events our farm focused catering menus are delicious and beautiful. We use seasonal locally grown ingredients to create delicious beautiful food that nourishes all your senses.
We get our produce from a variety of farms but our favorite way to shop is at the Marin County farmer’s market on Thursdays at the Civic Center. It’s so inspiring to walk among the stalls overflowing with the absolute best “of the moment” produce. Most of the product at has been harvested within a day or two of market—a dramatic difference from produce in grocery stores which has been picked, processed and shipped. The colors, smells and textures of the market are where many of our menus begin.
All of our menus at Roux Catering, our farm focused catering division, are custom created, designed with your vision and event details in mind. I’ll often ask clients “whats your favorite food when your happy”…”what restaurant do you go to when your celebrating”.. “whats a food memory that brings you joy”… Our goal is to create a menu that reflects your approach to food and how you want to share that feeling with your guests. Food is a personal experience and at Roux Catering we design with your vision in mind. We LOVE trying new things—have a particular recipe that makes you happy we are thrilled to give it a try.
Cooking with the seasons is exciting and delicious…we work in harmony with nature and often that means patience. No tomatoes in winter, no asparagus in Summer… but rather vegetables which are the perfect expression of a particular time and place. We are blessed with so much bounty in California…the gift of so much delicious food. It’s an honor to work and create in this community.
